Site Requirements

Lab site requirements for hosting a workshop:

Security/ Firewalls	Security programs--such as WinShield and FoolProof, must be disabled or set such that users can create folders and save files on the local hard drive. If your installation uses a proxy server, the proxy server information must be set up in the Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings, Proxy Settings dialog box. Firewalls must permit full access to https://iqcenter.certiport.com via Synchronizer, a Certiport Inc. program that connects directly to the URL (not through a browser) using ports 80 and 443. If you have a contract with an ISP or other provider who manages the firewall, you must arrange with the contractor to allow access in and out through the firewall.

Most of the workshop will be spent at the training computers. We will install In Demand Test Prep software on each of these computers for the workshop. There needs to be one training computer for every workshop attendee.

We will install the IC³ Test software on the testing computers. The testing computers should be separated from the training computers, since the training area can be rather noisy and the testing area should be quiet. This also should provide for more confidentiality of the IC³ test scores when they are printed. There needs to be approximately four testing computers for every five workshop attendees.
